Client Overview

Our client is an innovative sales, marketing and distribution company with a strong focus on managing supply chains across the globe. They are experts at sourcing, integrated business planning, warehousing, inventory management, domestic and global transport.

Business Need

The client has a fleet of multiple trucks and trailers that span over various locations and divisions, based on their respective divisions, all costs and credits are to be allocated to specific locations.
Reconciliation of Toll expense (a major cost) to be extracted location-wise out of a multi-page invoice.
Each of the 3 states has its own share of fuel tax credits that need to be allocated based on consumption.
Erroneous and inefficient process due to manual processing.

For allocating fuel tax credit, we designed mechanism that helped extract the relevant data and reconcile the same. The data was fed in required formats, processed and automatically fed back into the bookkeeping software environment thus leading to appropriate allocation of all relevant fuel tax credits.
For the extensive Toll bill processing in the software, we programmed a solution.
Automated most of the manual processing.
